4.1.3 Site environment
Introduction
This section describes the environmental requirements for installation of ÄKTA go.
Environmental requirements
The following general requirements must be fulfilled:

The room must have exhaust ventilation.
•
The instrument must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
•
Dust in the atmosphere must be kept to a minimum.
The installation site must comply with the following specifications.

If the installation is situated at a higher altitude, the customer is responsible for establishing
that the ÄKTA go instrument can be used safely in accordance with local regulations.
Instrument ventilation
There should be at least 10 cm clearance at the back of the instrument to allow adequate
air circulation.
NOTICE
Do not block the air vents on the rear of the instrument.
