5.2 Vehicle keys
The following keys are provided with the camper:
- Two keys which t into the following locks:
- entry door,
- service aps,
- toilet ap.
Entry door
To open:
• Unlatch the lock with the key.
• Pull the door handle.
• Open the door.
To shut:
• Shut the door.
• Turn the key until the latch clicks audibly.
• Turn the key back into the vertical position
and pull it out.
To prevent damage to the lock and
doorjamb, the inner door handle
must be in a perfectly horizontal
position and not slanted upward.
The entry door is your escape route
in an emergency. Therefore, never
block the door from the outside!
Service ap
To open:
• Hold your hand over the lock and press the
ap rmly inward.
• Unlatch the lock with the key.
• Open the ap upward or downward.
To shut:
• Close the ap upward.
• Press the ap shut, pushing on the left and
right with both hands, to ensure that all faste
nings actually lock into place.
• Latch the lock with the key.
All of the fastenings on the service
ap must lock into place when closing
to ensure that the ap will always be
closed tight. If the ap is not closed
correctly, it could become permanently
deformed, especially when the camper
stands unused for a longer period of
time.
