-Neveropentheroofbonnetsina
strongwindorwhenitisraining,
hailing,etc.,oriftheoutsidetem-
peratureisbelow-20°C!
-Beforeopening,removesnow,
iceorheavydirt.Makeanoteof
therequiredspaceneededbefore
openingtheroofbonnetundera
tree,inagarage,etc.
-Donotstepontheroofbonnet.
-Closeandlockroofbonnetsbe-
foredriving.Openinsectscreen
andshade(homeposition).
-Closeshadeonly3/4ofthewayif
thesunshinesinstrongly;danger
ofheataccumulation!
To open the bonnet:
Beforeopeningthebonnet,makesurethe
areaabovethebonnetisfreeofobstacles.The
bonnetcanbeopenedtoanangleof60°.Push
thecrankejectorinthedirectionofthearrowto
ejectthecrank.Turnthecranktoitsuserposi
-
tion.Crankinaclockwisedirectiontoopenthe
bonnettothedesiredposition.Shouldtherebe
anobstacle,thecrank'soverloadprotection
takeseffect;inthiscase,youwillhearaslight
"grating"noiseinthecrank.Closethebonnet
wheneveritrainsorthereisastorm.
To close the bonnet:
Turnthecrankanticlockwiseuntilthebonnet
isclosed.Foldthecrankandpressitintothe
crankpocket.Shouldtherebeanobstacle,the
crank'soverloadprotectiontakeseffect;inthis
case,youwillhearaslight"grating"noiseinthe
crank.Givethecrankonemoreturnuntilitcan
bepressedbackintothecrankpocket.
The openings for the forced venti-
lation system must always be left
open! Never close or cover forced
ventilation systems!
Beforedriving,makesuretheroof
bonnetissecurelylocked.
