Waste gas
• The waste gas pipe must be tightly attached
to the heating element and the ue. If it shows
damage, it should be replaced.
• Waste gases must be able to escape unob-
structed, and fresh air must be able to ow in
unobstructed. Therefore, no snow barriers or
skirts may lie directly against the vehicle. The
suction openings under the vehicle oor must
be clean and unobstructed at all times.
Before rst use
• Ventilation openings should remain unob-
structed.
• If necessary, remove snow from the ue.
• Remove any dirt and snow/debris mixture
from the suction openings under the vehicle
oor; otherwise, the levels of carbon mon-
oxide could increase to dangerous levels.
• The safety ventilation openings may not be
closed.
• We recommend that you keep a re extin-
guisher that uses drying powder, with a capa-
city of at least 1 kg, by the entry door, as well
as a re blanket by the cooker. Ensure that
everyone is familiar with the re prevention
measures on site (see also 1.4 Emergency
equipment).
Read the operating instructions from
the manufacturer carefully.
• Connect the regulator knobs very carefully by
hand. do not use keys, pliers or similar tools.
• Use the de-icing system (Eis-Ex) for the
regulator knobs when the temperature drops
below 5° C.
Never use portable cooking or he-
ating devices other than electrical
heating devices (note power re-
quirements) but not radiant heaters,
because these can cause re or
suffocation.
