Operation
• Turn the tap to the side and lift up the glass cover

. Open
the main shuto valve on the gas bottle and the gas stop valve
for the cooker.
• Set the burner control knob
k
of the required burner in the
ignition position (large ame) and press.
• The burners ignite automatically.
• Press the control knob
k
and hold rmly for a further 5 - 10
seconds until the ame is stable and burns steadily and the
thermocouple for the ame operates.
• Release the control knob
k
and position it to the desired set-
ting (large or small ame).
• If the ignition is unsuccessful, repeat the process from the be-
ginning.
• To switch the gas ame o, turn the control knob
k
back to
the "0" setting.
• Close the gas cooker's gas valve.
Use oven gloves or mitts when handling hot pots,
pans and similar objects. Risk of burns and scalding!
Do not allow the ame to burn higher than the top
edge of your pot; keep it lower.
Never allow gas to escape without burning. Danger
of explosion!

after cooking until the
burners have cooled down.
Do not store easily inammable objects such as dish
cloths, towels, etc., near the cooker. Danger of re!

10.5 Gas hob
The kitchen segment of the caravan is equipped with a 3 burner
gas hob.
Before rst use:
• Open the bottle valve and the gas valve in the kitchen drawer.
• The skylight or the kitchen window must be open when opera-
ting the cooker.
• Operation knobs, which must be pressed to ignite gas devices,
must automatically spring back into the original position upon
release.
Please observe the enclosed manufacturer’s operating
instructions.
Cookers or other devices which use combustion air from
the interior may never be used to heat the vehicle; this
would cause a potentially life-threatening lack of oxygen
due to carbon-monoxide build-up.
The cooker may not be used when the glass lid is closed.
