SERVICE INFORMATION
GENERAL
• This section covers service of the clutch, starter clut c h, ki ckstarter and gearshift linkage. All service can be done with the
engine
installed in the frame .
• Transmission oil viscosity and level have an effect on c lut ch disengage ment . Oil additiv es also affect clutch perfor-
mance and are
not recommended. When the clutch does not disengage or the motorcycle creeps with the clutch pulled
in, inspect the transmission 011 level before servicing the dut ch system.
