FRAME/BODY PANELS/EXHAUST SYSTEM
Remove the muffler mounting bolts , washer, muf-
fler, gasket and muffler joint band.
Remove the bolt and heat shield fr
om the muffler.
AI'9n the muffler Install the heat shield and tighten the bolt to the
labs 8nd heBt shield speC ified torqu e.
grommets.
TORQUE: 12 N'm (1.2 kgf·m, 9 Ibf.ft)
BOLT
Install the muffler joint band and new gasket onto r~~~ ~
the exhaust pipe.
HE AT SHIELD
Install the muffler by aligning the tab of the muffler ~ ~-~~~~~~~~~ ~:::::::::::~
joint band with the cut -o ul of the muffler .
