OIL PUMP
INSTALLATION
Install the oil jet onto the left crankcase.
Apply locking agent to the oil jet mounting bolt and
tighten it to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 10 N'm 11 .0 kgf·m. 7 Ibf.ft)
Assemble the left and right crankcase halves ( page
13·25).
DISASSEMBLY
Remove the engine fr om the f ra me (page 8-5 ).
Separate the left and right crankcase halves (page
13-10).
Remove the oil pump inner / outer r otors and shaft.
Remove
the one-way valv8.
INSPECTION
Check the one-way valve for wear or damage .
Check the oil pump shaft for wear or damage .
Check the left crankcase cover oil seal f or damage
or deterioration.
Replace the oil seal if necessary.
After installing B Check that the washer and snap ring are ins talled in
snap ring. a lways the left crankcase cover sec ur ely.
