CRANKCASE/CRANKSHAFT/TRANSMISSION/BALANCER
Drive in new
bearings squarely
with the marked
side fBcmg toward
the inside of t he
cran k case.
Drive in new bearings into the right crankcase using
the special tools.

Shift drum bearing:
Driver
Att ac hment , 37 x 40 mm
Pilot, 25 mm
Mainshatt bearing:
Driver
Attachment. 52 x 55 mm
Pilot, 25 mm
Countershaft bearing:
Driver
Attachment , 31 x 40 mm
Pilot, 17 mm
Balancer shaft bearing:
Driver
Attachment , 32 x 35 mm
Pilot, 17 mm

Clean and apply locking agent to the set plate bolts.
Install the bolts with the set plates and tight en the
bolts to the specified torque .
TORQUE:
Gearshift drum bearing set plate bolts :
10 N'm (1.0 kgf ·m, 7 lbf.ftj
Mainshaft bearing set pl ate bolts:
10 N'm (1 .0 kgf ·m, 7 Ibf.ftj
Balancer shaft bearing set plate bolts :
10 N'm (1.0 kgf·m, 7 Ibf · ftj
CRANKSHAFT INSTALLATION
Clean both crankcase mating surfaces before
assembling and check
for wear or damage.
If there is minor roughness or irregularities on the
crankcase mating surfaces, dress
them with an oil
stone.
After
deaning , lubricate the bear in gs and connect-
ing rod big end
wit h dean engine oil.
Install
the crankshaft into the right crankcase.
