REAR WHEEL/SUSPENSION

Remove the dust seals and washers (swingarm
side, shock link side).
Remove the dust
seals, side collars and pivot coliar
(shock absorber side).
INSPECTION
Check the dust seals and collars for wea r, damage
or fatigue.
Check the needle bearings for damage or loose fit.
Check the shock arm and shock link for cracks or
damage.
If the needle bearings are damaged, repl ace them .
BEARING REPLACEMENT
S HOCK ARM NEEDLE BEARING
Press the needle bearings (shock link side and swin-
germ side) out of the shock link using the special
tools and 8 hydraulic press.
