ELECTRIC STARTER
Apply grease to the oil seal lip and needle bearing in
the front cover.
Install the washer by aligning its tabs to the front
cover grooves .
Ins/till the shims Install the shims and insulated washer onto the
properly8S nOled armature shah .
dvrmQ remoV8l. Install a new seal ring onto the motor case.

Install the front cover being ca r ef ul not to damage
the oil seal lip.
Tighten the motor case bolts to the specified torque .
TORQU E: 3. 4 N'm 10 .3 kgf·m, 2.5 Ibf.ft)
Coat a new O'ring with oil and install it into the
starter motor groove,
