Remove the foHowing:

- Left crankcase

cover

- Flywheel (page

lancer (page 13-8)

Remove the snap ring and

oil

pump

driven

gear.

Remove

the

drive

pin.

Remove the bolts, guide plates, oil strainer and

grommet.

Remove

the

O-

ring

from

the

oil strainer.

Check the oil strainer

for

damage

clogs.

Clean the oil strainer screen.

Check the

oil

pump

driven

gear

for

wear

damage.
