2.4.2 CONFIGURATION PROCEDURE USING EFS 10, EFIS 40/50
(Software 08 or earlier)
If the system is installed in an EFS 10 or EFIS 40/50 (software 08 or earlier) installation, the Con-
figuration Module must be configured for the specific installation using the KPA 900 Configuration
Module Programmer Kit (P/N 050-03281-0000) in conjunction with a personal computer. Follow
the instructions for the programmer.
The following steps are performed by utilizing the pointer buttons on the EFIS Control Panel, plus,
the GAIN knob, RANGE buttons and the mode buttons on the Radar Control Panel.
2.4.2.1 Antenna Clearance Check
Enter the maintenance mode by performing Steps A and B.
