2.2 Error Messages
2.2.1 Ensite Pro to CIU 888 Migration Tool error messages
Error messages that may be displayed when uploading a site
configuration to the CIU 888 using the Migration tool are divided in:
Error messages that may be displayed when the “Create New
Configuration” option or the “Update Configuration” option is
selected, see section 2.2.2
Error messages that may be displayed when the “Update
Configuration” option is selected, see section 2.2.3

TABLE 2-2 lists the error messages that may occur when uploading a
site configuration to the CIU 888 using the Migration tool, with the
“Create New Configuration” option or “Update Configuration” option
selected.

Send Configuration Failed - Current
Role of CIU is not primary
Send Configuration Failed - Failed to
perform migration since connected
CIU is in secondary role
No change of data is allowed on
secondary CIU 888.
1. Connect Ethernet cable to Service
port of primary CIU 888.
2. Retry operation.
Send Configuration Failed - Primary
and secondary CIU are not in sync
Sync Link cable between CIU 888s in
redundant system setup is discon-
nected.
1. Reconnect Sync Link cable
between CIU 888s.
2. Restart secondary CIU 888.
3. Retry operation.
Send Configuration Failed - Site ele-
ment is not calibrated
Trying to update W&M relevant con-
figuration settings of calibrated tank.
1. Uncalibrate tank
2. Perform “Update Configuration”
operation.
Send Configuration Failed - Exception
occurred when reading the status of
Configuration and W&M switch
Problem with firmware. 1. Restart CIU 888.
2. Repeat operation.
3. Contact Honeywell Enraf if
problem persists.
