Percent of Total
You can calculate anyone of the three values if you know the other
two.
1. To display the % TOTL (percent of total) menu from the MAIN
menu , press ~ , then fImII .

2. Store each of the values you know by keying in the number and
pressing the appropriate menu key.
3. Press the menu key for the value you want to calculate. The an-
swer is displayed on the calculator line.
Example: Calculating the percent of total. Part 1. Total assets for
Evett
Company are $675,840. The firm has inventories of $234,576.
What percentage of total assets is inventory?
Part 2. Last year, Evett Company incurred salary expenses that were
45%
of operating expenses. If operating expenses were $76,249, what
were salary expenses?
Starting from the MAIN menu:
Keys: Display:
675840 11!1111 TOTAL=675, 840 . 00
Description:
Displays the % TOTL
menu.
Clears the history stack
and the % TOTL variables.
Stores $675,840 in
TOTAL.
