NOTE: Use the same steps to remove each fan.
1. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1).
2. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 5.0 screws (2) that secure the fan to the computer.
3. Remove the fan from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the fans.

Before removing the USB board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 31).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 31).
3. Remove the solid-state drives (Solid-state drive on page 32).
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37).
5. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 42).
6. Remove the right fan (see Fans on page 45).
