2.4 Using the Wizard
The Wizard helps you quickly set the general, network, and camera parameters on your TE30.
Background
When configuring the TE30 for the first time, use the Wizard to facilitate setup. For details, see
the HUAWEI TE30 Videoconferencing Endpoint Quick Start Guide.
If a USB flash drive is provided with your TE30, you can also load the configuration file from
the USB flash drive to configure your TE30. For details, see the HUAWEI TE30
Videoconferencing Endpoint Quick Installation Guide.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Advanced Settings > Settings > Installation > Wizard.
The General screen is displayed.
Step 2 Set the general parameters by referring to Table 2-3 and Table 3-1.

Parameter
Description Setting
Site name Specifies the site name you want to be
superimposed on the video of your site
when the video is displayed to other sites.
When your site joins a multipoint
conference, this site name is displayed in
the site list.
The default value is site.
Language Specifies the language for the remote
controlled UI.
The default value is English.
Time zone Specifies the time difference between the
local time and the Greenwich Mean Time
(GMT).
Your TE30 automatically sets
this parameter based on your
settings of Location.
The default value is (GMT
+08:00) Beijing, Chongqing,
Hong Kong, Urumqi.
Time format
Specifies the format in which time is
displayed.
The default value is 24-hour.
