Parameter Description Setting
Service type Specifies how the data packets sent and
received by your TE30 are processed on
the network.
l Normal: Network devices transmit the
data packets without special
processing.
l Minimum delay: Network devices
transmit the data packets at the highest
rate with the minimum delay.
l Maximum throughput: The largest
number of data packets possible are
transmitted on the network.
l Highest reliability: The data packets
are transmitted to remote sites
completely and correctly.
l Minimum cost: Network devices
transmit the data packets at the lowest
cost.
The default value is Minimum
delay.
DSCP audio
,
DSCP video
,
DSCP data
, and
DSCP
signaling
Specify the service level for the data
packets sent by your TE30 during
transmission.
A larger value indicates a higher service
level.
Value range: 0-63
The default value is 63.
Network
jitter
Adjusts network jitter settings to address
the following:
l Lip synchronization problems during
conferences
l Choppy audio problems, by increasing
the network jitter value.
Value range: 0 ms to 1000 ms
The default value is 0ms.
Lip sync. Fine-tunes network jitter settings if a
slight lip synchronization problem persists
after the network jitter settings are
adjusted.
Value range: 0 ms to 300 ms
The default value is 0ms.
