6.6 Optional Features
6.6.1 Audible Alarm
The audible alarm circuits are in a small metal box
on the logic gate.
1. Remove the audible alarm box from the gate by
loosening
the mounting screws.
2. Remove
the circuit board from the metal box.
3. Remove
the cable wires from the audible alarm
circuit board with longnose pliers
or with a small
screwdriver.
4. Reinstall in the reverse sequence. The circuit
board
is marked with the color code of wires to
be connected.
6.6.2 Security Keylock
1. Remove the screws that hold the keylock
assembly
to the frame.
2. Remove the keylock assembly cover.
3. Remove the cable leads from the switch with
pliers or with a small screwdriver. Note the
terminals from which the leads are removed (for
later
connection).
4. Remove the cable fastener from the hole in the
switch assembly.
5. Remove the cable from the keylock assembly.
6. Reinstall in the reverse sequence. Be sure to
align the,keylock assembly with the hole in the
right side cover.
6.7 Keyboard Units
This section describes
the procedures for removing
and reinstalling the keyboard units. The following
equipment may be required:
Key
top puller tool - PN 9900373 (preferred),
PN 75475, or PN 627953
Isopropyl alcohol PN 2200200 (or IBM tape
transport cleaner -
PN 453511)
Cloth (lint-free) PN 2108930 (or tissue -
PN 2123106)
