3.3 Operation Tests
Operation tests are used to sense failures both for
problem determination and for repair verification. Both offline and
online tests are available.
3.3.1 Offline Tests
The
3278
offline tests are
in
3278
logic. The test logic
is
activated by setting
the
Normal/Test switch
to
the
Test
position,
taking
the
3278
offline
to
its control unit, and putting it
in
test
mode. There are three
test
modes: Test Mode 1,
Test Mode
2, and
Test
Mode
3.
