JTPORT
For use by authorized service providers.
There is a problem with the J-Tag connection.
If a B1xx 4660 SRC sent you here, the JTAG-A external cable may be failing. For information about the
JTAG cable, see the Power and signal cables page.
If a B4xx xEB0 SRC sent you here, the following procedure will help you determine the failing item.
1. If there is an entry in the Service Action Log, replace any hardware listed. If that fails to correct the
problem, call your next level of support.
This ends the procedure.
2. If the system does not IPL and no SAL entry can be found, or if the SAL entry has no possible failing
items listed, do the following.
v See the B428 and B448 SRCs in the System reference code topic.
v Use the examples there to break down the SRC and extract any values that may be given for the
pairs RC02 and TP02, RC03 and TP03, RC04 and TP04, and RC05 and TP05. The TP0x values
are hardware CCIN numbers.
v Look up the associated part numbers in the Type, model, and part number list.
3.
The RC0x values are reference codes. Use the RC0x values and the table below to determine the
location for the associated CCIN. Replace any possible failing items one at a time.
