Frame capacity
The cartridge capacity of the frames of the TS4500 tape library varies depending on
whether the frame has I/O stations, tape drives, or any of the available capacity on
demand features that increase the amount of licensed capacity of the frame.
Capacity of L25, D25, and S25 frames
The position and configuration of the frame, and the installation of capacity on
demand (CoD) features, affect the total available capacity of the L25, D25, and S25
frames.
Table 42 shows available storage capacity based on possible frame positions and
configurations.
