DSC OPERATION
t After the all ships call has been transmitted, the following
indication is displayed.
y Push [CLR] to exit and the transceiver selects Channel
16 automatically.
•Evenif[CLR] hasn’t been pushed, the transceiver automatically
selects Channel 16 after 2 sec. of inactivity.
D Transmitting a position request call
Transmit a position request call when you want to know a
specific ship’s current position, etc.
q Push [MENU] to enter the DSC menu.
w Rotate [DIAL] to select “Position Request,” push
[DIAL•ENTER].
