Air Conditioning Controls
To provide cool air in warm climates and during hot
seasons the air conditioning system delivers cool
dehumidified air into the cab.
Air conditioning reduces moisture from the air and can be
used to demist windows quickly in damp weather. Used in
conjunction with the heater, it also makes the interior of the
cab warm and dry.
Important: Operate the air conditioning for at least 10
minutes per month.
1 Start the engine. K
Starting the Engine ( T 53).
Note: Before starting the engine make sure the air
conditioning is switched off (knob A, position 0).
2 Turn knob A clockwise to position 1 to turn the air
conditioning on. Turn to position 2 to increase speed.
To obtain best results from the air conditioning system
ensure that all doors and windows are closed.
3 Turn knob B counter-clockwise to raise the
temperature. Turn the knob in the opposite direction
to reduce the temperature.
4 Position vents C as required to direct air.
