You can tune in to FM or AM.
1 Press FM/AM/AUX/TV SOUND
to select “FM” or “AM” on the
display window on the main
unit.
Each time you press the button, the source
will be alternated among “FM”, “AM”, “AUX”
and “SOUND TV”.
Example:
2 Press TUNING or TUNING
to select the station (frequency).
Automatic tuning:
Hold down TUNING or TUNING until
the system starts searching, and then release
the button.
When a station of sufficient signal strength is
tuned in to, the system stops searching
automatically.
To stop searching manually, press
TUNING or TUNING.
Manual tuning:
Each time you press
TUNING
or
TUNING
, the frequency changes.
• When an FM stereo program is received,
the “ST” (Stereo) indicator lights.
NOTE
• If the stereo FM program currently tuned in to is
noisy, you can improve the reception by pressing
TUNER MODE to switch to the monaural mode
(“MONO” lights). If you press TUNER MODE again,
or tune in to another station, the receiving mode
returns automatically to the stereo mode.
• If a beeping sound disturbs your AM broadcast, you
can reduce the noise. Pressing TUNER MODE
displays “BEAT CUT AM” on the display window for
a short time and reduces the noise.
