 If frost is expected, check whether there
is enough anti-frosting agent in the
cooling water.
 Empty the water reservoir and the pipe
system; refer to chapter "Maintenance
Work/Empty water reservoir") (option).
Caution
Risk of damage! Never attach the appli-
ance to the brush system or tow it (for
sweepers).

Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
Risk of accident: The appliance must be
secured against slippage during transport.
 Switch the appliance off and lock the
emergency brake.
 Secure the appliance with tension
straps at the fastening eyes on the left
and the right.
Here, only additional information for the op-
eration with the upgrade kits with the MC 50
/ MIC 34C is indicated. Prior to installing
and operating the upgrade kit you must
read the separate instructions and the safe-
ty notes of the upgrade kit.
 With appliance carrier: Raise the work-
ing equipment: in order to do so, push
lever B towards the back.
 Bring lever E in the E2 position.

– The balance weight (option) must be at-
tached to the rear of the machine for
driving on public roads.
– Set the motor rpm to high.
Note:
The wear on the ground can be reduced by
using the upgrade kit for grass tyres (2.851-
089.0).
Removing the waste container/fresh water
tank will increase the driving stability and
the driver's view.
 Lower the working appliance and the
suction opening.
 Clean the top surface of the suction
opening with compressed air (for
sweepers).
