Cleaning the Shuttle Race
This area must be kept free of dust, lint and tangled thread.

1. Raisethe needle bar to its highest point,then and
removethe bobbin case ._.
2, Push the shuttle race levers _ aside. Lift outthe shuttle
racecover_ and take the shuttle _jout,
3. Clean the shuttle race _._witha lint brush,
4. Put a drop of oil on the center pin e| the shuttle _'_'_and
the shuttle race _.)oDo not overoil.

1. Turn tile handwheel so the shutlle driver _ forms a hall
moon on the left side of the machine.
2. Hold the shuttle _ by its center pin(_"_,and position the
shuttle so it forms a half moon on the right side. The
pointed hook will be on the bottom.
3. Put the shuttle race cover _';_back into place over the
shuttle _'_ assembly.
4. Snap tl_e levers =_)back into the original position.
