5. PANEL EXPLANATION
5 — 1 Front Panel
® Cathode ray tube (CRT)
The effective display screen surface runs over an area of eight 10 mm divisions (80 mm)
along the vertical axis and ten 10 mm divisions (100 mm) along the horizontal axis.
With an integral graticule etched on the tube surface, the chance of measurement
errors due to parallax occurring between the trace and the graticule is significantly
reduced. There is also a % display on the left of the CRT for measuring the rise time.
© POWER switch (j^ON/JLOFF)
A pushbutton type switch that turns the power source on and off.
Pressing the switch turns the power on. Pressing it again turns the power off.
(D Pi lot lamp
Lights up when the power is turned on.
® SCALE ILLUM control
Controls the i1lumination of the graticule on the CRT face.
