You must install the appropriate trunking board before you can
access SmarTrunk Trunking mode. For details, consult your
dealer.
While in SmarTrunk Trunking mode, most keys function
differently. Below are the new key functions for SmarTrunk
Trunking mode:
Enter a telephone number, then press the 1 or 2 key followed by
the key to connect to a telephone system. Press the # key to
end the call.
Enter the number of another transceiver, then press the 3 key
followed by the key to call the other transceiver. Press the #
key to end the call.
Press the 4 key followed by the key to make a group call.
Press the # key to end the call.
Press the 0 key followed by the key to make an emergency
call.
Press the key followed by a DTMF key (0 ~ 9) to recall the
Speed Dial numbers (if any) that are stored in your transceiver.
Press the S, A, <B, and C> to recall the Turbo SpeeDial numbers
(if any) that are stored in your transceiver, then press the S key to
make the call.
Press the Trunking Group Code Select key to display the stored
codes in your transceiver. Each press of this key cycles to the
next stored group code.
The following transceiver functions remain the same:

Low Transmit Power {page 35}
Squelch Level {page 36}
VOX {page 32}
Zone Up {page 16}
Zone Down {page 16}
