20.2 Perform percentage weighing
Preparation
For assigning two function keys of your choice with the functions <ENTER
REFERENCE> and <DEFINE REFERENCE WEIGHT> see chap. 20.1 or chap.
9.3.10.
20.2.1 Determination of the reference weight by weighing
 For selecting application <DEVIATION> see chap.16.1. The reference weight
used will be shown in the informational line of text. At the first start-up as value
0.0000g.
 Press the function key assigned to the <DEFINE REFERENCE WEIGHT)
function (display example F1)
 Put down a reference weight equalling 100 %, wait until the stability sign is
shown on the weighing balance screen and confirm by pressing the PRINT-
key.
The weight will be adopted as reference (100%) and shown in the
informational line of text.
 Tare, as required and place load on pan. The weight of the item to be weighed
is displayed in percent, referring to the reference weight.
• The reference weight will remain saved until a new reference is defined.
• Return to weighing mode, see chap. 17.2.1
