2] When arm cylinder and bucket cylin-
der are retracted to the end
Extend arm cylinder and bucket cylin-
der to the end, lower the work equip-
ment to the ground, and stop the
en
gine.
a Since a
nti-drop valve is attached
to arm cylinder head side,
remaining pressure increases
due to more hydraulic oil applied
to head side when work equip-
ment is lowered to the ground. In
this case, release the pressure
by performing step 4 “Release
remaining pressure in hydraulic
cylinder circuit” more times.
3) Release remaining pressure in hydraulic
cylinder circuit
1] Turn the starting switch to ON posi-
tion and set the work equipment lock
leve
r in FREE position, and then
operate the right and left work equip-
ment control levers forward and back-
ward, and to the right and left.
a The
work equipment is operated
by the pressure in the accumula-
tor. Pressure in the accumulator
is lost by operating the work
equipment control levers 2 or 3
times.
2] Set the work equipment lock lever to
L
OCK position, start the engine, and
run it with the fuel control dial at MIN
(Low idle) position for approximately
5 seconds to increase the pressure in
the accumulator.
4) Repeat step 1] and 2] 4 or 5 times to
release
the remaining pressure from the
cylinders.
5) Loosen oil filler cap of the hydraulic
tank
gradually to release the air in the tank.
a Leav
e the oil filler cap of the hydraulic
tank removed.
a Wh
en disassembling the anti-drop
valve, perform releasing remaining
pressure in cylinders, loosen anti-
drop valve assembly mounting bolts
gradually. Check that hydraulic oil
pressure is released, remove it as an
assembly, and disassemble it.
3. Releasing residual pressure from swing
motor circuit
The residual pressure in the swing motor cir-
cuit can be released by performing the opera-
tion for "Releasing residual pressure from
hydraulic cylinder circuit" (Operate the lever in
the swing direction only, however).
4. Releasing residual pressure from travel
motor circuit
Since the control valve spool of the travel
motor circuit is open, the pressure in this circuit
can be released by performing "Releasing
residual pressure from hydraulic tank".
