Removal
a Remove the window glass to be replaced
according to the following procedure.
1. Using seal cutter [1], cut the adhesive between
br
oken window glass (7) and operator's cab
(metal sheet)(8).
a If a
seal cutter is not available, make holes
on the adhesive and dam rubber with a
drill and pass a fine wire (piano wire, etc.)
[2] through the holes. Then, grip the both
ends of the wire with priors [3], etc. (or
hold them by winding them onto some-
thing) and move the wire to the right and
left to cut the adhesive and dam rubber.
Since the wire may be broken by the fric-
tional heat, apply lubricant to the wire.

a If
the window glass is broken finely, it may
be removed with a knife [4] and a screw-
driver.
a Widen
ing the cut with a flat blade screw-
driver, cut the dam rubber and adhesive
with knife [4].

2. Remove the window glass.
