EVERY 500 HOURS MAINTENANCE
LUBRICATION OF 2-PIECE BOOM
NOTICE
• For the first 50 hours on a new machine, carry out greasing points 1 to 6 every 10 hours. Carry out
the greasing for these points also at 250 hours and 500 hours on a new machine. After this, carry
out the greasing every 500 hours or every six months, whichever comes sooner.
• After carrying out digging work in water, always grease the pins that were under water.
• When carrying out heavy-duty operations, such as hydraulic breaker opeartions, carry out the
greasing every 100 hours.
1. Set the work equipment in the greasing position below, then
lower the work equipment to the ground and stop the engine.
2. Using a grease pump, pump in grease through the grease fittings shown by arrows.
3. After greasing, wipe off any old grease that was pushed out.
(1) Adjust cylinder bottom pin (1 place)
(2) Adjust cylinder rod end pin (1 place)
(3) Joint pin (1 place)
(4) Boom foot pin (2 places)
(5) Boom cylinder rod end pin (2 places)
(6) Arm cylinder foot pin (1 place)
