STOPPING ENGINE
NOTICE
If
the
engine
is
abruptly
stopped
before
it
has
cooled
down,
engine
life
may
be
greatly
shortened.
Consequently,
do
not
abruptly
stop
the
engine
except
for
an
emergency.
In
particular,
if
the
engine
has
overheated,
do
not
abruptly
stop
it
but
run
it
at
medium
speed
to
allow
it
to
cool
gradually,
then
stop
it.
1. Run the engine at low idling for about 5 minutes to cool down
gradually.
2.
Turn the key of starting switch (1) to the OFF position to stop
the engine.

Remove the key from starting switch (1).
