After EVERY trip on salted roads, thoroughly wash the
brake calipers and brake linings with cold water and dry
carefully. This should be done after the parts are cooled
down and while they are installed.
After riding on salted roads, thoroughly wash the motor-
cycle with cold water and dry it well.
– Treat the engine, the swingarm, and all other bare or galva-
nized parts (except brake discs) with a wax-based corrosion
inhibitor.
Info
Corrosion inhibitor must not come into contact with
the brake discs. This would severely lower the braking
effect.
