6.1 Clutch lever

is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
The clutch is hydraulically operated and self-adjusting.

6.2 Hand brake lever

The front brake is engaged using the hand brake lever.
6.3 Throttle grip

6.4 Kill switch (All EXC models)

The kill switch
is fitted on the left side of the handlebar.
Possible states
• Kill switch in the basic position – In this position, the ignition circuit is closed
and the engine can be started.
• Kill switch is pressed – In this position, the ignition circuit is interrupted, a run-
ning engine stops, and a non-running engine will not start.
