ಥ Remove screws and hang the CDI control unit to the side.

Do not unplug the CDI control unit.
ಥ Remove screw
. Remove screw, take off top triple clamp with the handlebar
and place it on one side.

Protect the motorcycle and its attachments from damage by covering them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.

ಥ Remove o-ring. Remove protector ring.
ಥ Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
ಥ Remove the upper steering head bearing.
Installing the lower triple clampx

ಥ Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage, and grease. Replace
damaged or worn parts.
Long-life grease ( P. 84)
ಥ Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount the upper steering head
bearing.

Check whether the top steering head seal is correctly positioned.
ಥ Push up protective ring
and o-ring.
