Checking fluid level of hydraulic clutch

The fluid level rises with increasing wear of the clutch lining disc.
Do not use brake fluid.

ಥ Move the clutch fluid reservoir mounted on the handlebar to a horizontal position.
ಥ Remove screws

ಥ Remove the cover
with membrane.
ಥ Check the fluid level.
Fluid level under top level of container. 4mm (0.16in)
» If the level of the cooling liquid does not meet specifications:
ಥ Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.
Hydraulic fluid (15) ( P. 82)
ಥ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ಥ Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten screws.

ಥ Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.

ಥ Remove the cover
with membrane.

ಥ Fill the bleeding syringe with the appropriate hydraulic fluid.
Bleed syringe (50329050000)
Hydraulic fluid (15) ( P. 82)
ಥ On the slave cylinder, remove the bleeder screw
and fit the bleeding syringe.

ಥ Inject the liquid into the system until it escapes from the bore hole of the mas-
ter cylinder without bubbles.
ಥ To prevent overflow, drain fluid occasionally from the master cylinder reservoir.
ಥ Remove the bleeding syringe. Mount and tighten screws bleeder screw.
ಥ Correct the fluid level of the hydraulic clutch.
Specification
Fluid level under top level of container. 4mm (0.16in)
ಥ Check parts for damage and wear. Replace damaged or worn parts.
ಥ Position the cover with the membrane. Mount and tighten screws.
