Status LEDs
LIVE
dark: the device is not powered.
blinks (green): device is powered and operational.
blinks (red): alert detected.
blinks (yellow): (fast): rmware upgrade mode, device is in bootload mode.
lights (yellow): device is powered but not in operation.
LASER ACTIVE
lights (red): laser transmission is enabled.
FIBER LINK
dark: no ber link between the transmitter and the receiver.
lights: ber link is established.
RS-232
dark: RS-232 ports (local and link) are in Pass-through mode.
blinks: Command Injection mode is active.
(only in case of SW4-OPT-TX240RAK model)
lights: RS-232 ports (local and link) are in Control mode.
2.7. Electrical connections
2.7.1. DC 5V connection
The transmitter has a locking connector to establish robust and safe power connection
after plugging it in, turn the plug clockwise as you can see in the picture below.

Do not forget to turn the plug clockwise direction before disconnecting the power adaptor.
WARNING!
Always use the supplied 5V power adaptor. Warranty void if damage occurs due to
use of a different power source.
