5.2. Software control modes
User has more possibilities to control the device besides the front panel buttons. The
following list contains the software control modes:
▪ Lightware Device Controller (LDC) - you can connect to the device via our control
software with using USB, RS-232 or Ethernet (only with SW4-OPT-TX240RAK
model) interfaces and control or congure the device as you wish. For the details
see section 6 on page 30.
▪ LW2 protocol commands: you can congure the device with reduced command set with
our built-in command protocol LW2. For more details see section 7 on page 49.
▪ LW3 protocol commands: you can also congure the device with the full-range command
set our built-in command protocol LW3. For more details see section 8 on page 62.
