Opening the door in an emergency in case of a power cut
The drum door cannot be opened.
Warning! Danger from rotating drum and danger of scalding.
Before inserting the Torx wrench, make sure that the machine is disconnected from the
electricity supply, the drum has stopped and there is no water in the machine.
Using a T40 Torx wrench, turn the release element with the inner hexagon two whole
revolutions anti-clockwise (left).
Useful tip: Pushing on the door at the same time makes it easier to turn the emergency
release mechanism.
The release element is located opposite the door catch at the same height as the handle
(see illustration).
The release element must not be turned to the right.
Danger of damage to the door lock.
The turn resistance will noticeably reduce. When the emergency release element moves
freely, the door is unlocked.
Useful tip: It is not necessary to screw the emergency release element back in.
The door can now be opened.
