Place the thermistor in the duct in a location where the average air temperature can be detected.
Install the thermistor bracket as shown below.
• Attach the thermistor to the bracket using tie bands (field supply).
• Drill a 1/2 in [51 mm] diameter opening in the duct.
• Place the bracket with the thermistor through the hole in the duct and secure with screws to the duct.
Place tape over the bracket and duct to make the opening air tight.
