Set the inside lock knob (1) to the locked
position, and close the door (2).

If the key is in the operation mode of the
power switch is in any mode other than OFF,
the lock knob will automatically return to the
unlocked position if you push the lock knob
forward or press the central door lock switch
to lock the doors with the driver’s door open.
Doors
Make sure the doors are closed: driving with
doors not completely closed is dangerous.
Never leave children in the vehicle unat-
tended.
Be careful not to lock the doors while the
key is inside the vehicle.
To lock or unlock with the key
1- Lock
2- Unlock
When locking or unlocking with the key, all
doors and the tailgate will be locked or
unlocked.

All doors and the tailgate can be locked or
unlocked with the emergency key. Refer to
“Emergency key” on page 3-10.
To lock or unlock from inside
the vehicle
1- Lock

The driver’s door can be opened without
using the lock knob by pulling on the inside
door handle.
