MIDI I/O
These MIDI Input/Output parameters dig a little deeper into how Moog One congures MIDI
communication with other MIDI devices and instruments, including Channelizing and Merging,
the use of DIN and/or USB ports, etc.
LOAD FROM PRESET (OFF, ON)
The MIDI I/O settings made here can be saved as part of the current Preset. By setting the LOAD
FROM PRESET parameter to On, these settings will be restored each time the Preset is loaded.
With the LOAD FROM PRESET parameter Off, the MIDI I/O settings will remain in their current
conguration.
MIDI IN PORTS (DIN, USB, DIN & USB)
This parameter selects which MIDI input port(s) is actively receiving data. The choices are DIN, USB, or
DIN & USB (both).
MIDI IN ROUTE (ALL SYNTHS, PER SYNTH)
When set to ALL SYNTHS, incoming MIDI data can play all of the Synths in the current Preset using
the single MIDI Channel specied using the MIDI IN CHANNEL ALL parameter that will be present and
available. However, if the value is set to PER SYNTH, then each Synth in the current Preset can receive
MIDI data on an independent MIDI Channel, by setting each of the MIDI IN CHANNEL SYNTH 1, MIDI IN
CHANNEL 2, and MIDI IN CHANNEL SYNTH 3 parameters that will be present and available.
MIDI IN ROUTE (ALL SYNTHS SELECTED)
MIDI IN CHANNEL ALL (OFF, 1 to 16)
This parameter selects the MIDI Channel that all of the Synths in the current Preset will use to
receive data.
MIDI IN ROUTE (PER SYNTH SELECTED)
MIDI IN CHANNEL SYNTH 1 (OFF, 1 to 16)
This parameter selects the MIDI Channel that Synth 1 will use to receive data.
MIDI IN CHANNEL SYNTH 2 (OFF, 1 to 16)
This parameter selects the MIDI Channel that Synth 2 will use to receive data.
MIDI IN CHANNEL SYNTH 3 (OFF, 1 to 16)
This parameter selects the MIDI Channel that Synth 3 will use to receive data.
TIP: If you really only need one Synth – Synth 3, say – to receive on a separate channel, Use the Per
Synth option and set Synth 1 and Synth 2 to the same channel, and Synth 3 to independent channel.
MIDI OUT PORTS (DIN, USB, DIN & USB)
This parameter selects which MIDI input port(s) is/are actively transmitting data. The choices are DIN,
USB, or DIN & USB (both).
