Disassembly C350 Series
Removing and Replacing the Microphone
1. Remove the rear housing cover, SIM, endo assembly, front endo assembly, and
display assembly as described in the procedures.
2. Turn the display assembly over to reveal the microphone.
3. Use the disassembly tool to gently pry the microphone out of its socket.as shown
in Figure 11.
4. Use the tweezers, carefully lift the microphone up and away from the display
assembly board.
5. To replace, use the tweezers to place the microphone into its socket on the
plastic section that holds the display assembly. Ensure the microphone elas-
tomer faces the circuit board contacts when reattaching the printed circuit
board.
6. Replace the display assembly, endo front housing, antenna, endo assembly,
SIM, and rear housing cover as described in the procedures.
