1.5.3 Inspection of input signal discrimination
Purpose of this inspection: Intended to confirm that a normal display is presented for any signal input.
Unless otherwise specified, the display pattern shall conform to the initial screen
as defined in 1.2.7, “Inspection mode setting.”

1) According to the table specified below, setting of input port/signal is performed and a signal input is
entered.

2) When a screen display is presented, visually confirm that there is no abnormality in the display.
(There shall be no extreme displacement in position, size, and phase. The screen shall be free from
flickering. / There shall be no extreme error in the chromaticity.)
3) Check the OSD for the signals. Secure an OSD display and indicate the information screen by pressing
MENU, +up and –down buttons. Adjust the cursor to MISC with the +up and –down buttons, the
pressing MENU button to enter sub-menu of MISC. Adjust the cursor again to INFORMATION with the
+up and –down buttons, display the [INFORMATION] screen by pressing the MENU key. Confirm that
the displayed definition matches with the input signal.

4) According to the table below, enter a signal input of SYNC on GREEN and confirm that a normal
screen is displayed.
