FEEDER
This moves
the
paper in very
fine
increments 1/180 inch
on
ML
3390/3391
or
1/144 inch
on
ML
3320/3321
to
be
exact - so
you
can position
the
top
of
form
precisely.
The
location
at
which Fine Line
Feed
is
completed
will
be
stored in
the
printers
memory
as
the
top
of
form
. The location
will
be
retained even
when
the
printer
is
turned
off
or
unplugged
until
you
reset
it.
If
no
paper
is
inserted, pressing
the
SHIFT+ TOF
button
sets
the
top
of
form
position
to
0.85 inch
from
the
top
of
the
page,
the
default
setting
for
the
Cut-Sheet Feeder.
Page Margins
For best results
we
recommend
that
you
maintain
minimum
page margins
as
shown in
the
diagram
below
.
When
you
set
up
the
page margins
for
your
word
processing file, keep in
mind
that
the
CSF,
automatically inserts
a 0.16 inch
left
margin.
Applications which require reverse line
feed
may
not
print
well
in
the
bottom
two
inches
of
paper.
Wide
Carriage Printer Owners!: When
the
CSF
3390-S
or
33
90
-D is in
st
alled, be s
ure
that
any
data
you
send
to
the
printer
is
only
eight inches
wide
(80 columns
at
10
cpi). Otherwise,
the
data
will
be
printed
on
the
platen.
