Servicing PDECBs
There is one PDECB for each CMIOU. For the locations of the PDECBs in the CMIOU
chassis, see “CMIOU Chassis Rear Components” on page 21.
There is one PDECB for the each switch unit (SPARC M7-16). For the locations of
the PDECBs in the switch chassis, see “Switch Chassis Rear Components (SPARC
M7-16)” on page 25
The replacement procedures are the same for all PDECBs.
Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See “Prevent ESD Damage” on page 61.
