The choice of needle depends on the version of the machine and the sewing
thread and material in use (see Chapter 3, Specifications).
9.02 Inserting the needles on the PFAFF 1296
Switch the machine off!
Danger due to unintentional
starting of the machine!
Only use needles from the
system intended for the
machine, see Chapter 3
Specifications.
● Set needle bar at top position and loosen
screws 1.
● Push needles 2 fully in (the long groove
of the left needle must face to the right
and that of the right needle to the left).
● Tighten screws 1 again.
