9. Install the drive belt.
ENGINE REASSEMBLY
NOTE: Be sure to reinstall all of the bearings, seals, and
retaining rings before the crankcase is reassembled.
Crankcase
1. Install a new output shaft oil seal and replace the
snap ring.
2. Install the crankshaft in one of the crankcase
halves. Install a newcrankcasegasket andinstall
the other side of the crankcase. Torque the
crankcase bolts to the specification and pattern.

Torque pattern
Crankcase Bolt Torque:
86 in.lbs. (10 Nm)
Oil Pump Installation
3. Install the dowel pin into the crankshaft.
4. Install the oil seal bracket.
5. Carefully install the oil pump drive gear on the
inside of the MAG side of the crankcase.
